Casabac Data Access - Data Access Tool

Casabac Data Access is a light-weight application to access and control persistent data. The application is written in 100% Java and uses the JDBC API to connect to the database management system. The application itself uses the Casabac GUI Server and so profits from the benefits of this technology: flicker free, high-end user interface inside the web browser. The application is designed to control the master data objects of business applications that do not have an own customization tool. Both the hierarchy inside the "Table Area" as well as the used layouts inside the "Detail Area" can be easily configured to meet your view on the persistent data.

Before following the link to the demo area:

• Internet Explorer 5.5 (and higer) is required! 
• The demo area is running in a hosted environment on a 800 MHz Celeron PC with 128 MB RAM. The operating system is Linux (Suse 7.2).

Hints:

• If you are using a 1024*768 screen: switch the browser to full screen in order to use maximum space. You can switch into full screen mode by pressing F11.
• Check your browser settings: pages and images should be buffered in the browser, otherwise everything is reloaded with every server interaction. Select "Extras ==> Options ==> General ==> Temporary Files" in your browser and adjust the settings if necessary.
