The Casabac GUI Server is typically used in following scenarios:

• Interactive application GUIs that are provided through the Web Browser
   
  Traditional Web-GUIs are not designed for high-performance demanding business software applications. The main reason causing this inability to meet those required performance levels is the need for browser pages to be permanently reloaded. This ongoing reloading causes application to flicker. GUIs built with "Casabac GUI Server" technology are flicker free and can sustain a high interactivity level of user screen changes. Casabac achieves this performance level by running in a plain browser without any additional plug-in installation, and through it's unique approach of exchanging only underlying page data back and to the server.
  
  Most enterprises still rely on running fat-client or rich-client applications using Java-Swing, Delphi, Visual Basic, C++ and other languages. The concept of achieving the same performance level in a 100% web-enabled/browser environment never emerged because the technology was not available. Casabac Technologies has changed this position with its powerful and innovative approach.   
   
• Software products that run both in a Browser- and in a non-Browser client
    
  Any application needs carefully to consider the right GUI technology to be used: should the GUI run in the browser or outside the browser? Casabac provides a simple answer for both considerations: the GUI can run in both environments, without being intrusive to the application development. Just the need for one layout definition and only one application code on the server-side, while there are two GUI platforms for rendering!
     
• Highly efficient and high speed development
   
  Development efforts spent on building application front ends, especially in Web environment, are complex and extremely costly.Casabac simplifies development of application efforts and provides an average development-time ratio-gain of 5 over traditional approaches. Further, because of the unique Casabac approach, development costs and needed resources are reduced significantly. Java developers, using Casabac, can build professional application front ends both for the browser and for an SWT front end without knowing details of HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, JavaScript etc. Casabac's development tools are open and standards based, resulting in a clearly structured, high performance and robust application.
